At the NWSA we believe that solicitors and other Independent property professionals should be working together in a focused way to meet the challenged thrown down by 'HIPs'.
Our view is that the provision of HIPs needn't be a problem and that Independent Solicitors, Estate Agents, Private Search Companies; Home Inspectors and Domestic Energy Assessors should form alliances locally in order that their local housing market is adequately served.
Such a local alliance is also important to ensure that the local economy is protected from the larger 'Corporate organisations' who will have no hesitation in placing legal, financial and other property based services outside the local area.
Independent Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and Independent Financial Advisors are all at risk if some of the more aggressive 'Pack Providers' are allowed into the local market unchallenged.
We believe that allying your business to a local section of the NWSA and its member firms is the first step to take in ensuring your business thrives in this new challenging market.
Estate Agents will now be able to access a HIP provider that they can be totally confident in, one with a proven track record of professionalism and reliability and at a price which is extremely competitive.
Mortgage advisors can be sure that by helping their clients find an NWSA HIP there is every chance that the transaction will proceed smoothly and in a spirit of co-operation.
Home Inspectors and DEAs in forming alliances with the association can be assured of forming long term professional relationships with other property professionals.
If you are interested in working with the NWSA or would like to set up a web link with our site please contact our Area Co-ordinator by completing the contact form or by calling NWSA on 0845 124 9857.
Transaction Times
Because member firms not only co-operate with each other but have also agreed standardised protocols, procedures and enquiries and because after having been instructed on the HIP we receive instructions for the conveyancing transaction we can carry out propriety work whilst the property is being marketed so that when a buyer is found all contract and other documentation and agreed enquiries are ready to enable the buyer to proceed.
The participating member firms are currently: Kennan Benjamin Kay, Morecrofts, David Phillips and Partners, Hal Emmett, Thos R Jones, Gregsons, Breens, Woolwich Lander and Savage, Black Norman, Sharman and SonMaxwell Hodge, Fletchers, Hodge Halsall, Cook and Talbot, Mawdsleys, Whitfields, Brighouses, Cockshott Peck Lewis, Brown Turner.
